OfficeCAD and Microsoft Word 2003 OfficeCAD can
accept data generated in a Microsoft Word document using
the tools provided by OfficeCAD. A word template is used
with your graphics, prompts, etc. The data gathered is
output to ASCII text file in a simple specification file (.SPC file) format. The
specification file is read by OfficeCAD which will create the new
drawing(s) using the information in the specification file. OfficeCAD can read your master drawing and extract the dimensions (text, dimensions, layers, blocks) and put them into a Word document with all of the VBA code underneath to create your new drawing directly from MS Word. Imagine all of the 140+ million MS Word familiar users creating your new custom AutoCAD drawings in seconds from within Word. No draftsman needed. No AutoCAD program needed. View a Microsoft Word Template with "intelligent" OfficeCAD drawing embedded. View a portion of a .SPC file.
